I remember seeing the Drones on the Valley Forge Mesh itself. I'll go back and save the Drone groups into a text file and then make a mesh for each one. One of them ( if I remember correctly ) is heavily damaged.  ;D

What do they say about hiding in plain sight?   ;D  This should be interesting!

Drone 3 as follows...I still haven't found these guys on the ship, but it's big and they aren't!

If it's my DLL then one is walking along the top girder that runs from the living/cargo area to the front of the ship. One is walking along the top right side of the living/cargo area front to back and one across the front of the living/cargo area left to right. The problem is that they are part of the model and it's really hard to see them because of visual clipping.

If I were to do it again I would make them ships and then attach them to moving attachpoints. That way you could focus on them to watch them.

I made it as a mesh and then made it as a UMMU mesh.

Do you think I should redo the docking area to make it an enclosed area with animated doors ?

I found where you can make them from paper:
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~sf-papercraft/Gallery/Silent/Silent.html

That's cool but I have a problem.
I downloaded them and put them together but I can't figure out how you guys got them into Orbiter. Am I missing something here?

Mesh Wizard.  I made a new mesh from the drawing and made it a mesh adjusted so that the drone legs match the Ummu mesh's feet.

I may make the arm extend and put where it can attach.

Now THAT would be really cool. You could send out a drone to pick up cargo and whatnot.

I have the drone so that his arm extends fully the attachment point is at the end of his extended arm.

That's very nice work, and I can see how you could extend this to the other two drones easily!
